AR HUD System

We are developing the laser AR HUD System based on the Focus Free function, excellent brightness, and ultra-small size of the laser optical engine by using BRYTN's Laser optical engine as the PGU (Picture Generating Unit), an image generating component in a vehicle AR HUD system, it is possible to create a virtual image that is brighter, clearer, and larger than before, with an adjustable focal length.

We have already completed technology verification through the installation of the windshield type AR HUD on actual vehicles and the development of the combiner type AR HUD.

In addition, based on SLM/LCoS based holographic laser optical engine technology, various technical schemes of Holographic AR HUD were developed through national projects and in-house R&D, and the performance was verified.

Building on this foundation, we are advancing our technology not only in the automotive industry, but also by developing PGU and HUD systems tailored for a wide range of applications—including construction equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, and forklifts, as well as aircraft and marine vessels.

Lightning Interior, Transparent/Rear Seat Display and Application

In-vehicle lighting interiors and various applications can be implemented using optical engines of various types of technology suitable for each situation, including laser optical engine.

For example, by interworking the ultra-small laser optical engine with Focus Free and the vehicle's exterior camera, the outside image hidden the rear of the vehicle can be displayed to the back seat from the driver's perspective when driving in reverse, as if it were a transparent car.

In addition, obstacles in external blind spots can be projected as they are, displayed at the exact location from the driver's perspective with a warning alarm.

In addition to the video welcome display, a transparent display can be created on a glass window by combining HOE film and a laser optical engine. You can also watch movies like in the theater from the backseat.

The Focus Free function of the laser optical engine is especially useful for projection inside a vehicle where the projection surface is irregular and the projection distance is different.
